An often forgotten key to comfortable and extending gameplay is monitor position. Think about your current setup. Is your neck in a comfortable position? Do you have to look up or down at the screen? Is there an annoying glare? Does your monitor position make you hunch down? All of these can have negative effects on your gaming and your body. Monitor mounts are an affordable way to upgrade your battlestation. Easily position the monitors at the right height, and tilt to eliminate glare. It'll keep you upright and stop your slow transformation into a hunched over gargoyle. Your back and neck will thank you.

After we connected the cables for the case lighting, fans, and components, we tucked everything away as best we could. From a functionality standpoint, everything looked ready to go, and aesthetically, we managed the cables as much as possible without taking too much time. We were confident, but you're never really sure it will boot up that first time. After screwing the glass sides back in place (the rear panel quietly hiding our cabling sins), we connected our PC to a display and hit the power button.

Eber Antony of HardwareCanucks reviewed the Logitech G513 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, sharing, “kudos to Logitech for designing a well thought out keyboard.” Applauding Logitech G’s new Romer-G Linear switches, he relayed that you’re “getting a more fluid and smoother keystroke experience, compared to the tactile response you get with the originals,” and when gaming, “these switches are fast and very lighter to actuate, so finger fatigue is completely out of question.”
Although not essential, this Legend of Zelda-inspired Triforce lamp offers a source of light, works as decoration, and us undoubtedly a conversation starter amongst gamers and non-gamers alike. The idea marathon run of Wind Waker or Pikmin 3 seems that much more inviting with idea of playing by the glow of the Triforce’s celestial light on a side table!
An often overlooked component of the ultimate gaming room is the audio setup. Surround sound can really immerse you in the gaming experience and is a popular option for gamers who like to play on the TV. Based on your budget, you will want to research 5.1, 7.1, or 9.1 surround sound options. For a real thrill, surround sound speakers that have some setup behind you will have you jumping with fright. Just think about zombies trying to sneak up and take a chomp out of you in games like the Last of Us (on PlayStation 4).
The only thing that we didn’t like about the setup are the 2 ultrawide monitors. Gaming with only 2 monitors is just inconvenient because of the bezels. Moreover, there are some issues with having only ultrawide monitors (which we have discussed in some of the above builds that feature ultrawide monitors). One Ultrawide is great, but we wouldn’t be opposed to swapping it out for 2 smaller 16:9 monitors. Of course, this might increase the overall build cost unless you’re going for 1080p monitors.

In many ways, the case you choose sets the tone for the whole build. It's obviously the most visual piece of the puzzle, so its aesthetic determines the theme and color scheme. Because of the need for some camera-friendly flash, we went with the Lian Li Alpha 550W chassis. This midsize tower was a big factor in deciding to go with a black-and-white theme for the rest of the parts—a clean, modern style.
This Elgato Green Screen is wonderful! You can use it for multiple scenarios. I use it indoors for Youtube videos, documentaries, interviews and music videos. It's long but portable and very easy to use. All you have to do is pull up on it to open and push down to close it. It takes me 10 seconds to open and start using my green screen. It comes in a built-in case with a handle and 2 legs underneath for stability. If you're looking for a green screen that you can put up on a few seconds, this is a must buy!
With gaming laptops, you’re also able to customize what features and specifications are important to you and line it up with a preferred price-point. You can choose a specific screen size (we like 15″ and up), processors (grab a 3.0 Ghz or higher), video card (again, the NVIDIA GTX series is top-of-the-line right now), and a hard drive capacity to your liking (stick with at least 500GB and with some portion of it to be a solid-state drive, please). The HP Omen is a top laptop pick recommended by not only use but those online gaming mags as well — for a reason.

Finding the best monitor or mouse for games such as CS:GO or Overwatch can be a difficult task. This task can be made easier with this website. If a large percentage of pro players use a certain mouse then it’s probably a good choice for regular gamers as well. Similarly, we think that having a database of the most common ingame settings used by pro players can help our users decide on how to tweak their personal settings as well.
