Unlike many hardcore gamers, I prefer to hide game boxes, and like to the downloadable versions of titles rather than a physical disc. As for all the discs I do have, I like to keep it in a space efficient and simple disc album. I believe it’s smart to do this even if you like to display your collection because the convenience of keeping all your games in one spot, easily browsable versus combing through disc cases and boxes.

While $50 is pretty steep, the EDGE Gyro has color changing LEDs that reflect the amount of resistance. Trying to chase the elusive mint-green (final level) is a fun challenge that will keep you coming back, and more importantly strengthening your wrists. Or you can go to Body Logix' booth at CES and fail at getting mint green so many times they just give you one to go away. It worked for me. I just couldn't advance past that damn purple!
When it comes to which gear for your own gaming experience and skills should be upgraded, it will ultimately come down to personal preference. We know a few of our friends who are just about professional gamers (big Fortnite people) who prefer an old mechanical keyboard and beat up mouse pad; however, when it comes to their mouse, headset and overall PC rig, they’re constantly on the prowl for the latest upgrades. Others we’ve spoken to can get by with just about any gaming gear as long as it works, while some others we know are consistently trying to get that edge over their opponents in any way possible.
This case's big, tempered-glass windows on four sides will highlight the components, and it includes eye-catching fan lighting on the front. It made things more fun, and it also saved us from having to install our own lighting during a live build. (The fans and their lighting come pre-wired.) It also looked relatively easily to build in, and who doesn't want that? At $127 at this writing, this chassis is certainly pricier than necessary—if you're cutting it close, you can easily shave money off with a less expensive case. But it looks great.
I don't want to judge too harshly to soon which is why I went 3 star but i am struggling to find a positive to say about the display. I am a computer programmer and bought the for a dual screen setup. I find the text to be very blurry with bleeding around the words and their is a definite quality difference between the screen of my laptop and the Asus monitor.. The monitor overall feels cheap and i guess i should have upped the amount i was willing to spend rather than going for a cheap one.
I extended the speaker wires with a 100 foot spool of cable and a little soldiering. Now it's a perfect fit for my entertainment center and it handles 5.1 Dolby in Bit Stream format from my XBOX ONE really well. The treble is crisp and clear as are the mids. I keep the woofer turned down to about 25% and the sound is well balanced and clear from my 39" LED.
An often overlooked component of the ultimate gaming room is the audio setup. Surround sound can really immerse you in the gaming experience and is a popular option for gamers who like to play on the TV. Based on your budget, you will want to research 5.1, 7.1, or 9.1 surround sound options. For a real thrill, surround sound speakers that have some setup behind you will have you jumping with fright. Just think about zombies trying to sneak up and take a chomp out of you in games like the Last of Us (on PlayStation 4).

This is a fantastic keyboard. I have used my son's gaming keyboard and it is quite cumbersome to use, the AmazonBasics seems to meet the brief of a working (ie office) and gaming keyboard head on, it is ideal for typing documents on as well as battering in a gaming setup, the build quality is excellent for the price. I like the highlighted keys (arrows and WASD, reminds me of my old Doom days) and the overall look.
And so, after a lot of rationalizing and budget-slicing, we ended up with a Founders Edition GeForce GTX 1070. Its $399 price means some concessions to storage and memory, but we felt it was worth making them. A graphics card is the main factor in the performance ceiling of a gaming machine, and going with a solid but not great option didn't sit right. This card also allows you to play at a higher resolution than 1080p with better frame rates (say, if you have a 1440p monitor). On the flip side, you might feel, understandably, that a GTX 1060 is plenty for this type of rig—and that choice gives you $100 to put toward other components. Our reviews at the link will give you an idea of the frame rates you will achieve with the different cards in different games.

Look straight ahead at your monitor, ideally, your eyes should be focused 3/4 the way up the monitor. It will help reduce fatigue and keep you sitting up straight. No matter the height of your desk or chair, adding a monitor mount will let you get the perfect view, every time you play. This is especially useful if you have more than one gamer in the house. Everyone has a different viewing sweet spot, and most mounts are adjustable on-demand without tools. Just grab and reposition as needed.
