Cords are an unfortunate reality of modern technology, but in the last few years several organization solutions have appeared to helped those helplessly drown in cable clutter. One of our longtime favorites is the stylish Bluelounge CableBox, a clever answer to many who want to focus on the game rather than stray wires. If the CableBox is either too big / too small, Bluelounge has a wide range to fit any homeowners requirements, with IKEA’s FIXA cable management ideal for tying up any loose ends to bundle bunches together.
After a trip to PC world, my nephew (who knows a lot more about computers than me) explained a few things to me and I was very surprised to see how much better this PC is compared to what the likes of PC world were offering. Almost double the power, more storage space, double the memory, for almost £150 less!!! You don't get the monitor like the PC World one but after checking online the screen they were offering with theirs cost only £60 on Amazon, so I could buy it separately and still save money!!!
Most LED Light strips you can purchase have a very sticky 3M adhesive on the back. Which makes them pretty hard to reapply to somewhere else if you end up being unhappy with where you put them originally. So we decided to do some testing and figure out a few pretty solid ways to use our gaming lights so maybe you'll have a few more ideas on your mind in case your first idea just doesn't cut it.
While $50 is pretty steep, the EDGE Gyro has color changing LEDs that reflect the amount of resistance. Trying to chase the elusive mint-green (final level) is a fun challenge that will keep you coming back, and more importantly strengthening your wrists. Or you can go to Body Logix' booth at CES and fail at getting mint green so many times they just give you one to go away. It worked for me. I just couldn't advance past that damn purple!
Aside from the buttons and programming galore, the G13 also includes a mini joystick that you’re able to program as well. The keys are backlit with custom colors and it has on-board profiles to save your keys, functions and settings in case you have different preferences per game, or even per level or environment. The small size of the Logitech G13 caps it all off with one of the best gear for gaming verdicts you may have not even known existed or that you needed. The Logitech G13 Gameboard is an amazing add-on to give you even more control over your game flow with more than enough hot keys available to program — we just hope you can remember them all.
Look straight ahead at your monitor, ideally, your eyes should be focused 3/4 the way up the monitor. It will help reduce fatigue and keep you sitting up straight. No matter the height of your desk or chair, adding a monitor mount will let you get the perfect view, every time you play. This is especially useful if you have more than one gamer in the house. Everyone has a different viewing sweet spot, and most mounts are adjustable on-demand without tools. Just grab and reposition as needed.
First and foremost, the video game console(s) and television need a central piece of furniture to keep everything organized, yet accessible. IKEA has many home entertainment consoles, but the budget minded gamer will appreciate what the popular EXPEDIT line offers. Not only is there a mount to raise a flat screen to an optimal viewing level, but the storage units are perfect for displaying consoles, game boxes, and other decorative items.

For the camera-shy, that probably sounds stressful—you'd rather enjoy your PC build in peace, going at your own pace, with nobody judging. Being in front of the camera does add weight to every moment and choice. Most important is that, in advance, we are careful to account for everything needed in terms of component acquisition, parts compatibility, and preparation. Doing the build as a pair lets you have someone to bounce ideas off of, provides another set of eyes to make sure everything is accounted for before the build, lets you fill air time with discussion, and adds a spare hand to make things run more smoothly on camera.
This may look like a 1990’s computer setup but don’t let the looks fool you. Because even with the old CD spindle case beside it, inside is actually a modern processor-- a Ryzen one at that! As well as a powerful GTX 1060 graphics card that can handle AAA games at 1080p resolution. How old looks meet the modern performance is what earned its place as one of the best gaming setups in 2019.
When it comes to deciding on a graphics card, it's all about personal preference and determining what you place the most value on. Do you want a graphics card specifically for 4K gaming, or for 1080p gaming, or do you simply want the best card on the market, money regardless? There really is no wrong answer after a certain point, so long as you have the cash to spend and a monitor that can do justice to the card.
A gaming monitor is an essential addition to a gamer’s battle station, providing smoother gameplay while exhibiting the best possible colors and light your games can give. High-end monitors can also give you the best refresh rates — measured in Hertz. The higher the number of refresh rates a monitor can offer, the smoother the screen will be when displaying fast-paced images.
Had the Stream Deck for a few days now and I gotta say im really impressed so far. It feels like a very premium product and looks it too. The cord is not too long at only about 3 feet or so, and theres no option to extend it. The LCD screens are very vibrant and the buttons feel solid. When you use a button that is an on/off switch (like a source on OBS) the key will light up or dim depending on whether its activated or not. I can see them in the future possibly releasing updates to add more options to what you can do with the stream deck. Some things i would like to see are live streaming controls for youtube live because currently they only allow you do comment/stream through your twitch account and I have taken youtube gaming as my home for streaming. ... full review
How clean it looks is what makes it worth mentioning as one of the coolest gaming setups or more specifically, one of the best gaming setups in early 2019. The monitor near the system unit does a pretty good job at concealing the wires to the monitor (although the angle the picture was taken at certainly helps) and this is something you can surely use if you’re planning to come up with your own cool gaming setup.

Not everyone prefers to game on a computer. Console gaming has become quite popular and has advanced drastically since the popular Atari was first introduced. Today, you have the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S which are not too far in performance from gaming PCs. The PS4 Pro is slightly more powerful as a console than the Xbox One S. Microsoft will release Project Scorpio later in the year which will rival the PS4 Pro. However, both have the capability of producing 4K content, PS4 Pro is far better at it than the Xbox One S. If you aren’t too concerned about the graphic, then the games are what should appeal to you. Both systems have numerous games that are exclusive to the system. So if you are a fan of particular games that is only available on the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One S then you can pick your system accordingly. Xbox One S is cheaper than the PS4 Pro but remember it is also not as powerful.

My favorite mechanical gaming keyboard is the CORSAIR STRAFE with Cherry MX Brown key switches. It's tactile, not too loud, and has a sleek modern design. It is fully programmable so you can macro just about anything. Right now it is on sale for only $79.99 (down $30 from last year), which is a great value for this keyboard. If you've got the cash, definitely consider the STRAFE. There is a bit of a learning curve to program it, but you won't be limited like you will with cheaper keyboards.
Ok ok, if you want a screen, to maximise your small space make sure you get a screen that you can mount on the wall. You can complement that setup by having floating shelves or cupboards for storing all of your gaming accessories!  We gained this inspiration from Ikea. We’d hack it by utilizing the floating parts and by hanging the TV on the wall as opposed to having storage that stands out from the wall.
Power regulation is extremely important, especially when dealing with some of the most expensive hardware in your living room. The Monster Essentials 500 can protect against sudden power surges or outages that may damage your consoles or television by offering a wide range of surge protectors. The Essentials 500 automatically disconnects connected equipment during such an event. There are many other surge protector models of various prices and capacity worth considering listed here.
Any gaming setup needs a wonderful spot to enjoy your games. You want to be comfy while getting the best visual experience when gaming on console or PC. There are a couple of gaming lounges that you can check out for the living room. If your looking to choose a gaming chair then check out what you should look for in your gaming chair choice. You'll want to make sure that the quality of your TV or monitor will match your gaming machine of choice. All the latest consoles come with 4K quality and anything on a PC can be up to 4K.  You need to pick a monitor or TV capable of displaying that quality though. Pair all this with your PC or console of choice and you'll have the best gaming setup.
Video game controllers no longer have to be attached to the system itself, however they do require consistent charging. A multi-unit solutions like the Nykos line of charge stations for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Wii can keep multiple controllers on standby and top up their batteries without the messy cables while also keeping them neatly stored away.
Tucker Bowe of Gear Patrol included the Logitech G PRO Gaming Headset and the Logitech G433 7.1 Gaming Headset in his list of “The Best Gaming Headsets for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.” He shared that Logitech G "designed the headset with some of the best-known esports teams (such as G2 Esports and London Spitfire) on the G PRO headset, so it has some premium gaming features, like a tournament-grade mic and the company’s Pro-G drivers."
The parts may be on the standard side, but doing this build live, on camera, for an audience is a unique factor—not something the average person will have to deal with. It's fun, but it comes with certain complications and pressures. With people watching, you feel the need to be as entertaining as you are efficient. If you make a mistake, not only do you know people will probably be critical, but you're aware it will take more precious viewing time to fix. We aim for a live build that's both informative and easy to watch, so it's a delicate balance, and it'll have more rough edges than a building session that can be stopped, reshot, and edited.
It’s difficult to imagine a living room or game room without a table, so the question is what’s the ideal table? The Bosco Coffee Table from Safavieh comes in three colors, has a pleasing classic design, and has two narrow drawers which are perfect for spare charging cables, audio/video cables, accessories or peripherals, game guides, and other such objects that are difficult to find homes for.
We paid for it in effort, though. The Gammaxx isn't abnormal for an air cooler, but its bracket orientation was confusing, and we started screwing in the parts out of order. This had a little domino effect during the build; we had to backpedal a few steps, and it took longer than it probably should have, but it was hardly catastrophic. Lesson: Read the manual, or at least flip through it. (We tried to wing it.)
The Gammaxx cooler wasn't our only unnecessary RGB accessory: We installed something even sillier. Lian Li provided us with its new Strimer RGB 24-Pin Cable, an auxiliary main-PSU power cable with colored lighting built in. It comes in two layers—the white cable itself, which carries the power, and a translucent layer of fiber-optic lighting that clips on to the top of the cable. (This latter layer is also connected to the cable by a small wire for power.) One end of the 24-pin cable gets plugged into the PSU's motherboard female power-cable socket on one end, and into the PSU's 24-pin male cable connector on the other.
This was a tricky one. We originally budgeted for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060—a modest but effective HD gaming card. Most of the time with that card, in most games, you get at least 60 frames per second (fps) in 1,920 by 1,080 gameplay with settings at or near maximum. But it's not a powerhouse. The GeForce GTX 1060 Founders Edition retails for $299, so from the start we were picking the rest of the components with a GTX 1060 at that price in mind. As the process went on, though, we were tempted by the more powerful GeForce GTX 1070. Something about going through all of the trouble to build a gaming-specific machine only to use a GTX 1060 just felt underwhelming.
When it comes to actually choosing which exact version of the Corsair One is best, we recommend sticking with a few necessities (feel free to browse around what they offer to see which price-tag is justified for your budget). Keep in mind the following: 16GB of RAM, at least an i7 processor with 3.0 Ghz+, as much hard drive memory as you need (1 TB should suffice, and we do recommend a portion being solid-state drive at that), and a video card to hold it all together (something like an NVIDIA GTX). The Corsair One is going to keep you going for not only the present but for many years to come, even as the demand games ask for better internal builds of PC’s continues as well since it’s currently ahead of the curve.
