We all love a clean and flexible setup. This is what Reddit user u/cfbModsAreAssMyDude’s first build looks like. The wireless keyboard and mouse keeps up the clean aesthetic and ensures there aren’t any unneeded wires hanging around; it looks really clean because of this. Plus, the wall mount lets you change the monitor from portrait to landscape easily-- perfect for streamers and other productivity use.

Backwards compatibility on consoles is a somewhat dubious matter. While the Xbox One is fully compatible with older Xbox releases, the PlayStation 4 is not. This is a situation that might change in the future, so it’s highly unpredictable. Ultimately, there’s no telling if you will be able to play a current-gen game on the next-gen console without having to pay extra for services such as the PlayStation Now.

Coming to an insurmountable obstacle in the middle of a live video because of a missing, incompatible, or broken component is the ultimate nightmare—thankfully, that hasn't happened to us yet!. But it's fun to take live questions through Facebook, talk to viewers, and make our build as watchable as possible while we work on it at a reasonable pace. In my experience, it's been an entertaining challenge—as long as we don't make any glaring errors! If we do, we can count on our viewers to let us know. Right away.
Gaming PCs contain a higher end & more powerful graphics card as compared to traditional PCs. gaming laptops are also becoming more available as gaming grows increasingly more mobile. A large difference between a gaming laptop and a normal laptop is the cooling components. Gaming puts a heavy strain on both the GPU (graphics processing unit) and CPU (central processing unit) which generates more heat and therefore needs a more sophisticated cooling system.

That said, it should be obvious which type of audience these two types of consoles cater to and which you belong to. And since the latter consoles are in a league of their own, the PlayStation and the Xbox are the ones which share most of their games with PC and are the ones that compete with it. As such, we will be referring primarily to them throughout this guide when speaking of “consoles”.
The Xbox One X had almost year of technological advancements to utilize since the release of PS4 Pro in November 2016. It comes at a higher starting price point, even more so since the PS4 Pro went down a lot in price between it's release and the Xbox One X release. Each console has their own signature titles. Xbox lays claim to the Gears of War series and Halo, while PlayStation buyers enjoy games like Uncharted and The Last of Us. While these are only available on certain consoles, there are a plethora of games just like them that are available across both consoles and PC. Another thing to consider when choosing is who you will be playing with. If you want to game with your friends then you'll have to choose the console they have, since we still don't have cross platform play. Whichever one you choose, it will be a great edition to an epic lounge room gaming setup.
The problem is obvious. That’s a lot of money. A living room PC may beat the visual quality of a console, but does it matter enough to justify a price that’s several times higher? Most people will answer no. Even enthusiasts find it hard to tolerate. After all, hardcore PC gamers are guaranteed to already own a fast desktop, and they’re not eager to buy the same hardware twice.
PC offers better visuals, a greater number of indie titles, and more affordable games while being substantially more expensive to buy than consoles. It can also be plagued by compatibility and hardware issues. Consoles, on the other hand, are cheaper to buy and can last for an entire console generation, and are much easier to troubleshoot, but games tend to be more expensive.

The overall construction is quite sturdy and its light weight in case you need to move it around or travel with it to LAN parties. Underneath the desk you’ll also find a little cable management contraption to help with organization. Lastly, it comes in quite a few colors to fit your personality — red, black, blue, green, and white. The Arozzi Arena is awesome because of the color choices to match your style, portability, special and large surface designed strictly for gaming and overall affordability.
Visually, it pays off. PC titles usually offer more detailed textures, better post-process effects, superior anti-aliasing, and more realistic shadows. Despite that, games usually run more quickly on PC. Consoles almost always target 30 frames per second, while the PC can regularly flex its muscles and obtain 60 FPS or higher. The net result is more attractive, more fluid gameplay.
Lian Li's Alpha tower includes a small pedestal near the front on which you can install your boot drive, and it was strangely satisfying to mount the SSD to this little metal stand and screw it into the case, propped up like a trophy. The SSD isn't the most eye-catching item, but it gains some celebrity when it's on display like that. Hiding the cables leading up to this lone plinth is a little tricky once it's plugged in, but it's a nice touch. The RAM was similarly easy to install, and we wanted to get it in there before the DIMM slots were made difficult to reach due to other components getting in the way.
Unless you have spare parts at your disposal, you need to consider seven core components when putting together a build: a case, a motherboard, a power supply, a CPU, a graphics card (or two), some RAM, and storage. And you'll see almost infinite options out there for each of these. Factor in cost, function, personal manufacturer preferences, and aesthetics, and you have a lot of decisions to make! Given our $1,000 cap, we had to decide which of these were the most important to the concept of an HD gaming machine, and which we could live with compromising on.
We say all this as a warning. Buying a PC as a console replacement may seem like a good idea, and it does have its benefits. Yet there are also a lot of issues, none of which are easy to resolve. Alienware, MSI, or Zotac can do little to fix the problems above. The issues – at least for now – are inherent to the PC experience, baked into the operating system, or the way computers are constructed.

The sales thing is also disingenuous. You can resell console games first of all which you can't (easily) PC games. SEcond of all, by the time there's a steam sale, there's usually a similar discount on amazon for console versions. As with anything there are tradeoffs. Consoles are less of a fuss, but you also get significantly less performance for that. Stop dealing in absolutes. There are good things and bad things about both platforms.
