The PC is the way to go for true gaming (sorry console gamers). They have been ahead of consoles for a long time. Their performance is unparalleled compared to any other gaming machine and is constantly getting better. To get the latest and greatest in a PC will set you back a lot of money. But you don't need to have the best to play the best. The beauty about PC gaming is the variability of it. You can get a very decent gaming PC built for around $800. If you just want a PC to do as good as a console, you can make it for less than a console. PC's price point and power makes it a must for all gamers and their gaming setup. We made a great guide on what to consider when buying or building your own PC.
More ways to enjoy gaming are coming out as technology advances. Virtual Reality gaming is the latest technology craze. More and more games come with VR compatibility but only the PlayStation 4 supports VR. If you want to invest in VR gaming, you will need to put a fair bit of money in to a PC and have a lot of space. It's not something for everybody but definitely something that everyone should think about ass it gains more traction. With VR getting bigger and bigger, it won't be long till we have full immersion gaming rigs. Something like this:
Our entry level, affordable Gaming PCs might be designed for those who are just starting out or who are looking for a more affordable way to game, but our low prices don't mean that you have to compromise on quality or performance. And that's why PC gaming is superior to console gaming, friends. That wasn't so bad, was it? I like to think that I took the inherently ghastly take and gave it a decent argument. Although I mostly agree with the sentiment (the Switch is the first console I've purchased since the Xbox 360), I would never trash consoles; some of my favorite games of all time haven't (legally) made their ways to PC.

So, the budget build isn’t overwhelmingly living-room-friendly. It’s kind of big, despite not packing in all that much power. But now we have something to build on, and can start to explore the more powerful options. This build will fit a little more snuggly in your lounge, and have a bit of extra power behind it for playing those beefier games. This is a much more elegant build, and really begins to resemble the ideal of a living room gaming PC (or a Steam machine).

This doesn’t mean a Ryzen/Vega chip will perform as well as GeForce 1060. It does mean that you will be able to play decent games on a budget while you save up for a good graphics card, if you find you need one. That’s the great thing about desktop PCs: you can add more memory, bigger drives and faster graphics cards for many years after you have bought them.
What also makes this mouse unique is they’ve combined different sensory technologies together enabling the user to reach never before seen speeds. The Chaos Spectrum features a ‘Delta Zero technology‘ as well as an exclusive Fusion Engine Hybrid Sensor that allows you to reach speeds of 500 IPS or higher. For us, a mouse to upgrade for must have additional programmable buttons for quick access to hot keys as well as fast response time to keep our movements precise. The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum is just that — a highly advanced mouse that is considered one of the best solutions for gaming equipment in the market. It’s a great choice for gamers but can also be effectively used for work purposes, making this a well-worth it upgrade.

How clean it looks is what makes it worth mentioning as one of the coolest gaming setups or more specifically, one of the best gaming setups in early 2019. The monitor near the system unit does a pretty good job at concealing the wires to the monitor (although the angle the picture was taken at certainly helps) and this is something you can surely use if you’re planning to come up with your own cool gaming setup.
Love how these PC gamers in the comments once again live up to their reputation of how toxic they are. Half the stuff their going on about might have been true 10 years ago. Consoles started gaming, gaming will end with consoles. Your just some egotistical scumlord if you think console gaming is worse than PC gaming. Since 2017 it's been on par, Developers are literally, pulling away from PC gaming and preferring consoles. Because of how demanding PC players are. It's funny when devs want nothing to do with PC players. And they feel forced to let you have their games. Consoles were the start of gaming, and they're the future of gaming. PC are only useful for creating the game. Not playing it.

Since this is a controller that can also work specifically with Android TV’s, Logitech provides the user with standard Android controls as well as instructions so that you will never have any issues navigating. When it comes to superior equipment, as well as enhanced control features, the Logitech Wireless F710 has got you covered. Not to mention allows you to steer away from those pesky wires if you’re OK going the wireless route in a gaming environment.
Played a game and hated it? Steam, Origin, GOG.com, and many other retailers now allow you to refund any game you purchase, as long as you meet certain parameters. Not only does it let you get your money back when developers don’t deliver on a game, but it also lets you test whether it runs on your machine—thereby removing much of the guesswork from PC gaming.
We think the following is gear gamers should upgrade if they’re able. Again, you can either do so systematically as you gather some cash, grab a few at once, or setup an entire new rig — it’s all on you! Or perhaps even start building your own gaming computer if you want to save some money as well. If there are some different recommendations or even gear you feel we left out, let us know in the comments. Just as a heads up, click on the links below of the gear to jump to that specific section’s recommendation. We’ll also link you to some of our guides in case you want some more information or additional gear picks to compare and contrast.

It’s a bit misleading because consoles and PCs take advantage of their hardware in different ways, but serves well enough as a raw comparison. $200 gets you a graphics card that’s (on paper at least) better than what you’ll see in the PS4 Pro. Grab the rest of your parts and you’re all set for pretty, especially if you already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor handy, as many people do.
When considering the epic battle between console or PC, it’s important to consider not only budget, but what experience overall you are looking to have. As a gamer, are you most concerned with convenience? Or cost? Multi-player online gaming? Do you enjoy or would you be interested in upgrading a computer yourself? Most of us here at Crucial® like PC gaming better than console gaming, but we’re all into that. No matter what you choose, the important thing is to play.
Ghosting can really get in the way of intense gaming or hard work so Anti-Ghosting can be a key feature of a great gaming keyboard. Ghosting occurs when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously but not all are registered, those missed are said to have been ‘ghosted’. Anti-Ghosting supports simultaneous keystrokes so your moves are never missed in the game.
