Tonight I could pop open Steam and play Street Fighter V. I could also play Gears of War 4, Forza Motorsport 7, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Axiom Verge, Talos Principle, Killing Floor 2, Darkest Dungeon, No Man’s Sky, Downwell, SOMA, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Transistor, Grow Home, Hotline Miami 2, N++, Volume, and so many others. The video below is of Tekken 7 running at 4K resolution on a PC, and Final Fantasy XV is coming to computers in 2018.
Any gaming setup needs a wonderful spot to enjoy your games. You want to be comfy while getting the best visual experience when gaming on console or PC. There are a couple of gaming lounges that you can check out for the living room. If your looking to choose a gaming chair then check out what you should look for in your gaming chair choice. You'll want to make sure that the quality of your TV or monitor will match your gaming machine of choice. All the latest consoles come with 4K quality and anything on a PC can be up to 4K. You need to pick a monitor or TV capable of displaying that quality though. Pair all this with your PC or console of choice and you'll have the best gaming setup.
When it comes to actually choosing which exact version of the Corsair One is best, we recommend sticking with a few necessities (feel free to browse around what they offer to see which price-tag is justified for your budget). Keep in mind the following: 16GB of RAM, at least an i7 processor with 3.0 Ghz+, as much hard drive memory as you need (1 TB should suffice, and we do recommend a portion being solid-state drive at that), and a video card to hold it all together (something like an NVIDIA GTX). The Corsair One is going to keep you going for not only the present but for many years to come, even as the demand games ask for better internal builds of PC’s continues as well since it’s currently ahead of the curve.
Last year, Dota 2 and League of Legends, two of the most popular video games on the planet, dominated esports earnings. If you want hard numbers, here you go: The Dota 2 International's prize pool topped $24 million, while the League of Legends World Championship fell just shy of $5 million. So, get those mice and keyboards ready, and prepare to grind.

4. Console gaming is generally cheaper upfront, or if you only plan to play around 6 months. PC will have a lot longer period of upgrade, and if you buy a decent hardwares (that can't be all dirt-cheap), you will upgrade cheaply and don't need to buy all your games all over again. Games on PC is waayyy cheaper. A lot are free, and don't you ever heard of steam sale? (Epic is also opening up shop, and it will give you free games every two weeks).

Not everyone prefers to game on a computer. Console gaming has become quite popular and has advanced drastically since the popular Atari was first introduced. Today, you have the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S which are not too far in performance from gaming PCs. The PS4 Pro is slightly more powerful as a console than the Xbox One S. Microsoft will release Project Scorpio later in the year which will rival the PS4 Pro. However, both have the capability of producing 4K content, PS4 Pro is far better at it than the Xbox One S. If you aren’t too concerned about the graphic, then the games are what should appeal to you. Both systems have numerous games that are exclusive to the system. So if you are a fan of particular games that is only available on the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One S then you can pick your system accordingly. Xbox One S is cheaper than the PS4 Pro but remember it is also not as powerful.
Built for the battlefield, the HyperX Alloy Elite is loaded with fast, accurate, and comfortable Cherry MX Blue switches and a durable steel frame. RGB backlit keys and a brilliant 18-LED light bar keep you fragging away long into the night. It’s also equipped to meet your multimedia needs with dedicated media buttons, USB 2.0, Game Mode, anti-ghosting, and N-Key rollover.
We paid for it in effort, though. The Gammaxx isn't abnormal for an air cooler, but its bracket orientation was confusing, and we started screwing in the parts out of order. This had a little domino effect during the build; we had to backpedal a few steps, and it took longer than it probably should have, but it was hardly catastrophic. Lesson: Read the manual, or at least flip through it. (We tried to wing it.)
With a living room gaming PC functioning as a Steam Machine, however, you get the same benefits of customization as you would with any conventional PC (meaning you can make it as powerful as you want or can afford), while also retaining the several benefits that consoles do have (including intuitive TV/controller interfaces, minimal menu navigation to access games on startup, and—in the case of using SteamOS—a reasonable expectation of straightforward compatibility for any games that can be accessed on the platform).
After a trip to PC world, my nephew (who knows a lot more about computers than me) explained a few things to me and I was very surprised to see how much better this PC is compared to what the likes of PC world were offering. Almost double the power, more storage space, double the memory, for almost £150 less!!! You don't get the monitor like the PC World one but after checking online the screen they were offering with theirs cost only £60 on Amazon, so I could buy it separately and still save money!!!
And games from third-party AAA publishers universally land on PCs. Point being: Buying a PC rarely means missing out on console games these days. Sure, you won’t be able to play handful of first-party titles on Sony’s end, but everything else makes it over—and often (barring edge cases like Arkham Knight) in better condition than the console versions.
With gaming laptops, you’re also able to customize what features and specifications are important to you and line it up with a preferred price-point. You can choose a specific screen size (we like 15″ and up), processors (grab a 3.0 Ghz or higher), video card (again, the NVIDIA GTX series is top-of-the-line right now), and a hard drive capacity to your liking (stick with at least 500GB and with some portion of it to be a solid-state drive, please). The HP Omen is a top laptop pick recommended by not only use but those online gaming mags as well — for a reason.
The Xbox One X had almost year of technological advancements to utilize since the release of PS4 Pro in November 2016. It comes at a higher starting price point, even more so since the PS4 Pro went down a lot in price between it's release and the Xbox One X release. Each console has their own signature titles. Xbox lays claim to the Gears of War series and Halo, while PlayStation buyers enjoy games like Uncharted and The Last of Us. While these are only available on certain consoles, there are a plethora of games just like them that are available across both consoles and PC. Another thing to consider when choosing is who you will be playing with. If you want to game with your friends then you'll have to choose the console they have, since we still don't have cross platform play. Whichever one you choose, it will be a great edition to an epic lounge room gaming setup.

The PC is the way to go for true gaming (sorry console gamers). They have been ahead of consoles for a long time. Their performance is unparalleled compared to any other gaming machine and is constantly getting better. To get the latest and greatest in a PC will set you back a lot of money. But you don't need to have the best to play the best. The beauty about PC gaming is the variability of it. You can get a very decent gaming PC built for around $800. If you just want a PC to do as good as a console, you can make it for less than a console. PC's price point and power makes it a must for all gamers and their gaming setup. We made a great guide on what to consider when buying or building your own PC.
That said, it should be obvious which type of audience these two types of consoles cater to and which you belong to. And since the latter consoles are in a league of their own, the PlayStation and the Xbox are the ones which share most of their games with PC and are the ones that compete with it. As such, we will be referring primarily to them throughout this guide when speaking of “consoles”.
We can pretty much imagine that every gamer’s dream is to have a powerful computer to play all current games at maximum settings. Because of this, many people choose to make their own setups and include only the best parts available on the market. But besides the functional part, there is also an esthetic one meaning that there is more to a fine PC setup than just a strong graphics card and a wide monitor. There are some gaming setups that are so impressive that they deserve global recognition and this is why, in today’s video, we are going to unveil some of the most elaborate PC setups. The emphasis is put on the originality of the projects presented rather than the state of the art system specifications.
PC is killing the gaming community. They're egomaniacal self proclaimed Kings of nothing. The community is trash and toxic. They twist words and truths every little way they can to make PC gaming sound superior than console gaming. Steam sales, FPS, etc. They take one thing and build it up to make it seem godlike. When in reality, nothing PC has to offer is superior to consoles in any way. They just manipulate unsuspecting people that don't know any better into thinking it is. If gaming was a religion. PC gamers would be Lord's of hell. While console gamers would live in a heaven.
And that's why PC gaming is superior to console gaming, friends. That wasn't so bad, was it? I like to think that I took the inherently ghastly take and gave it a decent argument. Although I mostly agree with the sentiment (the Switch is the first console I've purchased since the Xbox 360), I would never trash consoles; some of my favorite games of all time haven't (legally) made their ways to PC.
First up, the dramatically titled Logitech 'Prodigy' gaming keyboard has been reduced by 42 per cent to £34.99 - the lowest it's ever been at the retailer, and the best price we've seen online. The exact same model will set you back £70 at Argos right now. Ideal for both performance gamers and folk who really enjoy bright colours, this keyboard boasts many advantages, such as a tactile, mechanical feel optimised to suit gaming, and an integrated rest for wrist strain. The Prodigy is also around four times faster than your average keyboard, and can be uniquely mapped with simple software.
