Another headset recommendation here, the Sennheiser GAME ONE is presented to us next as an open-back light weighted design that is not only built for enhanced comfort but also provides a crystal-clear sound. Featuring a suitable volume control conveniently located near the headsets ear cups as well as plush velour covered XXL ear pads, these combine to make this one another addition to the best gear for gaming list for those with a bit of larger budgets than our previous headset pick.

On the mouse front, there are three notable models ranging from £15 to £45 bearing discounts of up to 57 per cent. We'll move from lowest price to highest. Lets start with the Logitech G203 gaming mouse, which is 57 per cent off, and costs only £14.99 right now. A top-notch wired gaming mouse, it's up to eight times faster than your usual rodent appendages, has a 6000 DPI optical sensor for gaming accuracy, and much like the previously mentioned keyboard, can be customised visually from a range of over 16 million colours. If you just can't choose, nab both items in this handy keyboard-and-mouse bundle that costs £49.98.
Wow you haven't a clue about PC gaming huh? "While PC gaming certainly has its advantages, consoles are definitely superior." Really? You guys need to pay for online, lets say 60$ per year and the average console generation lasts 6 years that's 360$. If your controller breaks how much does it cost to buy a new one? 40$ for a first party one. You can get a K&M combo for 14.4 dollars. What about game? Heard of this thing called steam sales? You get insane deals on even the newest game like AC Odyssey was 30$ and where I live I got it for 22$. Overall, you get hardware that you are stuck with without the option to upgrade, you are stuck with decisions like 4K 30 fps on the 1X instead of 2K 60 or 1080p 60 fps, visuals that make games barely run at 30 case and point the Witcher 3. And the 1080p thing, yeah well if you so choose on PC, you can play at 720p 60/900p 60 if you wish too or even lower the settings to get 1080p 60 or 1080p 45. A GTX 760 is enough to perform side by side or even surpass the base grade consoles. Consoles are more expensive in the long run and you are tied down to whatever sony or microsoft decides. PC is about choice.

Love how these PC gamers in the comments once again live up to their reputation of how toxic they are. Half the stuff their going on about might have been true 10 years ago. Consoles started gaming, gaming will end with consoles. Your just some egotistical scumlord if you think console gaming is worse than PC gaming. Since 2017 it's been on par, Developers are literally, pulling away from PC gaming and preferring consoles. Because of how demanding PC players are. It's funny when devs want nothing to do with PC players. And they feel forced to let you have their games. Consoles were the start of gaming, and they're the future of gaming. PC are only useful for creating the game. Not playing it.

With the thermal paste applied, the brackets oriented and screwed in correctly, and the cooler attached, we went about the rest of the build with ease. Slotting in the graphics card is one of the simplest steps, despite its importance, and connecting cables is a somewhat tedious but straightforward process. (Consult your motherboard manual if need be.) The case was helpful for cable management, generally speaking, with an interesting hinged flap in the back, behind the right side panel, for hiding and holding the bulk of the cables in place. All told, we found enough hidey-holes and pass-throughs to tunnel most of the cables and stash around back before plugging everything in.

Gaming PCs contain a higher end & more powerful graphics card as compared to traditional PCs. gaming laptops are also becoming more available as gaming grows increasingly more mobile. A large difference between a gaming laptop and a normal laptop is the cooling components. Gaming puts a heavy strain on both the GPU (graphics processing unit) and CPU (central processing unit) which generates more heat and therefore needs a more sophisticated cooling system.
When it comes to online gaming, PCs give people a variety of ways to connect to the internet and to one another that aren't restricted to proprietary services or software. Different brands of computers and operating systems usually communicate well with one another. This is different from services like Xbox Live, for example, which is the only option available to Xbox users who want to play online and is closed to everyone who doesn't have an Xbox.

When it comes to which gear for your own gaming experience and skills should be upgraded, it will ultimately come down to personal preference. We know a few of our friends who are just about professional gamers (big Fortnite people) who prefer an old mechanical keyboard and beat up mouse pad; however, when it comes to their mouse, headset and overall PC rig, they’re constantly on the prowl for the latest upgrades. Others we’ve spoken to can get by with just about any gaming gear as long as it works, while some others we know are consistently trying to get that edge over their opponents in any way possible.

After we decided on, ordered, and finally, received all the parts, the time came for the actual build. As opposed to some builds we've done in the past, no one unusual component in this system added a twist or caused trouble. We've installed strange coolers and built in constraining cases, but the parts in this desktop are straightforward. Because of that, we weren't especially wary going in—but you never know what a build will throw at you.

Picking the platform based on games can be tricky. If you are a huge fan of MMORPG’s then the getting a desktop PC is your best bet. It offers the best selections of MMORPGs. While computers are great for first-person shooter games also like Call of Duty and all, we however prefer both PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S over it. It is just more fun playing first person shooters on a console and with thousands of other games online. If you mostly play sports game then you can go with any of the three platform since most sports related games are multi-platform with the exception of a limited few.
Additionally, the 'Prodigy' keyboard has over 16 million colours, which can be wrangled into personalised lighting "zones". Slim, comfy and durable - it repels liquids (up to 60ml), crumbs and other annoyances for easy clean-up and long life. As you would expect with gaming keyboards, it also comes with anti-ghosting functionality - meaning you can press ALL the buttons simultaneously without icky freezes. There are also handy in-built media buttons that allow you to control music and videos while in-game. As far as gaming keyboards go, this is definitely one worth nabbing - especially for only £34.99.
Great PC, it's laughed at everything I've thrown at it (admittedly that's not too much), love gaming in widescreen now that I have acclimatised to it. Components are a good quality brand but the case was selected from the lower price range but it looks good under my desk. My only real issue was with the emails I got regarding delivery - it was delivered within the estimated time but by this stage I had had several emails telling me it would be delivered the next day - the tracking number said it spent several days in Manchester and another few in transit from Manchester

Next, we have a controller that is perfect for multi-platforms. The Logitech Wireless F710 features dual vibration feedback monitors allowing you to literally feel the game in your hands. In addition, the F710 impressively comes with a wireless connection that allows you to cut the wires entirely so that you can play with the utmost convenience. The gaming world is endlessly growing and advancing your equipment is always important. If you are a competitive gamer, you certainly want a controller that can adapt and be unique to the user. The profiler software that is specifically designed by Logitech’s brand enables play with an unsupported title, allowing all controls to become programmable.

An often overlooked component of the ultimate gaming room is the audio setup. Surround sound can really immerse you in the gaming experience and is a popular option for gamers who like to play on the TV. Based on your budget, you will want to research 5.1, 7.1, or 9.1 surround sound options. For a real thrill, surround sound speakers that have some setup behind you will have you jumping with fright. Just think about zombies trying to sneak up and take a chomp out of you in games like the Last of Us (on PlayStation 4).

With consoles, you only have to worry about your budget and desire to play 4K games. In addition, unlike PCs, consoles continue to perform smoothly and run the latest games even after a couple of years of use. PC rigs generally wear out quicker and you will be forced to upgrade two or three years down the line (especially if you want to try out the most recent games).

When considering the epic battle between console or PC, it’s important to consider not only budget, but what experience overall you are looking to have. As a gamer, are you most concerned with convenience? Or cost? Multi-player online gaming? Do you enjoy or would you be interested in upgrading a computer yourself? Most of us here at Crucial® like PC gaming better than console gaming, but we’re all into that. No matter what you choose, the important thing is to play.

Your processor can be a bottleneck for gaming, but as long as you hit a certain performance minimum, which many modern CPUs do, it's other components that are more likely to hold you back. Recent processors are more efficient than ever, with a much more capable baseline than the average CPUs of the past. For this build, we went with an eighth-generation ("Coffee Lake") Intel Core i5-8400 CPU for $179, which is more than powerful enough for mainstream gaming.

This is no longer the case as titles are now available across platforms; and in nearly all cases, the PC title is better than its console counterpart. Why? Because most computers are simply more capable than consoles. Take for example the Sony PlayStation® 4; with a processor speed of 1.6GHz and 8GB of RAM, is bested even by some entry-level laptops. Thus, in the ongoing debate that is console vs. PC gaming, many gamers are starting to ask themselves why they should show allegiance to any one console when their gaming PC can support all of the titles that interest them – while also providing all of the benefits of a computer.
In all honesty, choose a console over a PC. They are much simpler to use. They have a much less toxic community. Much better quality of games. And if you don't have superhuman eyesight. Which no one does, you won't really notice the difference between frames per second between console and PC. PC has a hardly better noticeable FPS that they just love to go on about like it's God's gift to the world. But in reality, it's barely noticeable in modern gaming.
This is a chair that is specifically designed for those who work day-to-day with technology as the Gesture comes with ergonomic 8-hour support (we know, game sessions go longer than that!). The chair is quick to make adjustments and molds to the user, no matter the body type. People have various preferences in the way that they sit, but what makes the Gestures so great is the type of person you are isn’t really relative as it comes with great versatility. If you sit for long hours a day whether playing online games or for work, the Steelcase Gesture comes in as premium and high-end. In our opinion however, it is worth the price if you want to be free of that well-being, long-term posture and physical health guilt.
Any gaming setup needs a wonderful spot to enjoy your games. You want to be comfy while getting the best visual experience when gaming on console or PC. There are a couple of gaming lounges that you can check out for the living room. If your looking to choose a gaming chair then check out what you should look for in your gaming chair choice. You'll want to make sure that the quality of your TV or monitor will match your gaming machine of choice. All the latest consoles come with 4K quality and anything on a PC can be up to 4K.  You need to pick a monitor or TV capable of displaying that quality though. Pair all this with your PC or console of choice and you'll have the best gaming setup.
Another headset recommendation here, the Sennheiser GAME ONE is presented to us next as an open-back light weighted design that is not only built for enhanced comfort but also provides a crystal-clear sound.
