Most everything in this article is opinion based. But that doesn't mean that any of it is less true though. One thing is doesn't mention though is how horrible the PC community is. They think they are so better than everyone else, they're not though. Everyone hates them, even their own kind are constantly fighting with one another. It's a cesspool of a community. Only out to fuel they're self worth. Every gamer hates the PC community, for good reason too. I'm not saying buy a console, if you want a PC, go ahead. They're all preference anyway. I'm just warning anyone thinking about it. Your better off sticking to single player games. Cause PC gamers will come at you like a pair of wild animals, the second to log in.

I realize that statement was either probably made because you just don't know, but you can do all of these with a gaming rig. I am no PC-only fanboy; I own a PS4, XBone, and Switch. Interestingly enough, I was gaming on my sofa from my PC (on Steam)with a lapboard using my 50" plasma last night (as I do much of the time). The lapboard has USB ports, so I can use my PS4 controller (or Switch, or whichever) to game, and many PC games are compatible with controllers at this point. I prefer a kbm on most games, but games like Yakuza 0 (oops, not just a PS4 exclusive anymore) are good with a controller.

Wow you haven't a clue about PC gaming huh? "While PC gaming certainly has its advantages, consoles are definitely superior." Really? You guys need to pay for online, lets say 60$ per year and the average console generation lasts 6 years that's 360$. If your controller breaks how much does it cost to buy a new one? 40$ for a first party one. You can get a K&M combo for 14.4 dollars. What about game? Heard of this thing called steam sales? You get insane deals on even the newest game like AC Odyssey was 30$ and where I live I got it for 22$. Overall, you get hardware that you are stuck with without the option to upgrade, you are stuck with decisions like 4K 30 fps on the 1X instead of 2K 60 or 1080p 60 fps, visuals that make games barely run at 30 case and point the Witcher 3. And the 1080p thing, yeah well if you so choose on PC, you can play at 720p 60/900p 60 if you wish too or even lower the settings to get 1080p 60 or 1080p 45. A GTX 760 is enough to perform side by side or even surpass the base grade consoles. Consoles are more expensive in the long run and you are tied down to whatever sony or microsoft decides. PC is about choice.

You can keep playing your games without worrying about obsolete hardware components. Unlike playing on a PC, which can require upgrades as PC games advance, consoles are built by the manufacturer with the necessary system requirements. However, console manufacturers will release new consoles in line with improvements in technology, so there is still a risk of old consoles not being supported for new games. How much time between new console releases depends on the manufacturer. So, console gamers will have to consider whether to upgrade or not when the latest system is released.

What’s a gaming gear upgrade if you’ve gotten a new PC but still have those same old monitors? You may be catching our drift here — if you upgrade one piece of your setup, others may then ask to be changed as well. Ultimately, it’s up to you; a screen is a screen, however there are a few aspects of gaming that should be taken into consideration when looking at a monitor to give us an edge. Originated to function at peak performance in terms of speed, the Dell SE2417HG is compatible with just about everything you can think of. Picking the platform based on games can be tricky. If you are a huge fan of MMORPG’s then the getting a desktop PC is your best bet. It offers the best selections of MMORPGs. While computers are great for first-person shooter games also like Call of Duty and all, we however prefer both PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S over it. It is just more fun playing first person shooters on a console and with thousands of other games online. If you mostly play sports game then you can go with any of the three platform since most sports related games are multi-platform with the exception of a limited few.

For some reason the white version is selling for nearly half the price of the black colour , it really is a bargain , having full access to steam with a fairly competent but upgradeable machine. As well as being a fully fledged pc , so origin and gog are also available. As the system is now it plays skyrim in ultra but i recommend upgrading the ram and getting a nicer keyboard , mouse and controller . what you get for the price is amazing though .
The PC’s gaming heritage stretches back something like forty years at this point. Thanks to the enthusiasm of the PC community, most of that forty years is immediately accessible to you. Text adventures? The Interactive Fiction Database has you covered. DOS? Thanks, DOSBox. The more complicated environments of fifteen or twenty years ago? Again, there’s GOG.com, plus (if the game you’re looking for is popular) probably dozens of mods to improve the experience.
Visually, it pays off. PC titles usually offer more detailed textures, better post-process effects, superior anti-aliasing, and more realistic shadows. Despite that, games usually run more quickly on PC. Consoles almost always target 30 frames per second, while the PC can regularly flex its muscles and obtain 60 FPS or higher. The net result is more attractive, more fluid gameplay.
Not everyone prefers to game on a computer. Console gaming has become quite popular and has advanced drastically since the popular Atari was first introduced. Today, you have the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One S which are not too far in performance from gaming PCs. The PS4 Pro is slightly more powerful as a console than the Xbox One S. Microsoft will release Project Scorpio later in the year which will rival the PS4 Pro. However, both have the capability of producing 4K content, PS4 Pro is far better at it than the Xbox One S. If you aren’t too concerned about the graphic, then the games are what should appeal to you. Both systems have numerous games that are exclusive to the system. So if you are a fan of particular games that is only available on the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One S then you can pick your system accordingly. Xbox One S is cheaper than the PS4 Pro but remember it is also not as powerful.
The Gammaxx cooler wasn't our only unnecessary RGB accessory: We installed something even sillier. Lian Li provided us with its new Strimer RGB 24-Pin Cable, an auxiliary main-PSU power cable with colored lighting built in. It comes in two layers—the white cable itself, which carries the power, and a translucent layer of fiber-optic lighting that clips on to the top of the cable. (This latter layer is also connected to the cable by a small wire for power.) One end of the 24-pin cable gets plugged into the PSU's motherboard female power-cable socket on one end, and into the PSU's 24-pin male cable connector on the other.
If you wanted a Playstation 4, you would’ve bought one, right? You’re probably reading this guide because you know that consoles severely lack customizability, and they’re also not powerful enough to play the latest games smoothly at maximum detail, and modding games on them is considerably harder when it's even possible, and you're completely limited to the exclusives of that particular console family (and often also that console generation), and . . . well, you get the idea.

Wow, developers care more about mobile then you, also in your eyes we might be demanding, but if your referring to us wanting to play our games how we want to and not let any company screw us over then I guess we are demanding. I noticed that after I switched from Xbox to pc I had more fun gaming, the people were nicer generally and people are more willing to help new players.
This was a tricky one. We originally budgeted for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060—a modest but effective HD gaming card. Most of the time with that card, in most games, you get at least 60 frames per second (fps) in 1,920 by 1,080 gameplay with settings at or near maximum. But it's not a powerhouse. The GeForce GTX 1060 Founders Edition retails for $299, so from the start we were picking the rest of the components with a GTX 1060 at that price in mind. As the process went on, though, we were tempted by the more powerful GeForce GTX 1070. Something about going through all of the trouble to build a gaming-specific machine only to use a GTX 1060 just felt underwhelming.
